FCC

January 25, 2021

Dear FCC Oversight Committee,

This correspondence is to apprise you of the improper dealings of the FCC in relation to the SpaceX Colburn Gateway Backhaul Site in Bonner County Idaho.

Eight SpaceX Starlink ground antenna globes were approved, on a temporary testing basis, by the FCC in 2020, for the SpaceX Colburn Gateway. Instead nine antenna globes were installed on the site. Most importantly the application which was used to get those globes approved was falsified using outdated census records. SpaceX led the FCC to believe that the area was sparsely populated. However, there are many more people that live in this historic residential farming community.

The time allotted for this temporary permit by the FCC has expired, and we have every reason to believe that the SpaceX Backhaul site is still operating without proper application from the FCC. SpaceX Starlink is currently going through the Beta Testing process, against the will of many living in close proximity to it, including farmers, bee keepers, and those who moved to the area, assured that they would have a rural, natural environment to raise their children.

The nine SpaceX Starlink ground antennas placed in Selle Valley are in violation of:

" the Bonner County Comprehensive Plan and the completed work of the Selle Samuels area committee, for a rural farming community;
" the Administrative Procedure Act (APA), because SpaceX is operating on a non-evidence-basis;
" and in violation of the 1996 Telecommunications Act (TCA) because the FCC failed, as required by the TCA, to consider the impact of its decision on public health and safety.

The FCC has been referencing antiquated wireless radiation limits, even when the science has been directly pointed out to them. Utility consumers, in each state, have paid into their utility company's fund for decades for promised wired internet services. There has been a bait and switch, from wired to wireless internet services and this is a disgrace that needs to be rectified. We demand safe wired technology. Furthermore, we insist on an immediate removal of the SpaceX Colburn Gateway Backhaul Site.

Sincerely,

President

Dear FCC,

Utility consumers, in each state, have paid into their utility company’s fund for decades for promised wired internet services. There has been a bait and switch, from wired to wireless internet services. This is appalling and it needs to be rectified.

We do not approve of the FCC gifting taxpayer dollars to wealthy wireless companies, i.e. $885 million to SpaceX in 2020. We do not approve of paying for technology that science shows to be harmful to health and the environment. We demand safe and secure wired technology that we were promised and what we paid for.

We support the Environmental Health Trust (EHT) that insists that the FCC must not ignore the science or ignore the people. EHT scientists and scientific advisors regularly publish research on the effects of radio-frequency radiation in peer reviewed journals. See a short list of their published works on the next page.

Sincerely,

President
